Fingo site

2022 | Figma

Fingo is a fintech that is dedicated to providing financing through factoring, ordering, confirming and prompt payment digitally. The idea is that customers can request what they need through the Fingo platform without needing help. Fingo started with a platform that didn't follow usability rules nor had consistent interface graphics, so it was a big challenge.I decided to start by redesigning the company's graphic line so that from that base, the platform would follow the line. Then, thinking about the format that should be followed due to the large number of features that Fingo offers. And thus, also leave room for future developments. All this, always putting the user first, testing the functions with users and potential users of the platform.

The scope of the project

The scope of the Fingo project encompassed a comprehensive redesign of the digital platform, with a strong emphasis on improving user experience and visual consistency. Fingo's platform aimed to offer factoring, ordering, confirmation, and prompt payment services entirely online, allowing customers to request financial assistance seamlessly. The project's overarching goal was to transform the existing platform that lacked usability and a consistent interface into a user-centric, user-friendly, and future-ready solution.

Results

The results of Fingo's platform redesign were highly successful. The redesigned interface and graphic elements brought about consistency and a visually appealing user experience. Customers could now navigate the platform more easily, request financing, confirm orders, and facilitate prompt payments with confidence. The user-centric approach, along with usability testing, ensured that the redesigned platform aligned with user expectations and needs, ultimately enhancing Fingo's competitiveness in the fintech industry by offering a more accessible and efficient digital financial solution, always remembering that somebody will be able to help if you need.

UX/UI design process

The UX design process for the Fingo project commenced with the redesign of the company's graphic line to establish a coherent visual identity. The designer then focused on reimagining the platform's format to accommodate the various features offered by Fingo while leaving room for future expansions. User-centered design principles were integral throughout the process, with usability testing involving both current users and potential users of the platform. This iterative approach ensured that the platform would meet the needs and expectations of its audience.

My role

My primary responsibility was to overhaul the company's user interface and graphic design to make it more user-friendly and consistent in every operation Fingo offers. This involved focusing on usability principles and ensuring that the platform would be easy for customers to navigate without assistance. I worked to align the company's visual identity with a new graphic line and proposed a totally innovative platform's format to accommodate Fingo's extensive array of features, all with the end-user in mind, which is mostly old.
